NOTE !!!! On a Private Works Project the lender (unless the lender is the owner) is not required to withhold money, unless you obtain a bond and submit it with your Stop Notice. In some instances but not all, the lender may, at its option, withhold money even though the Stop Notice is not bonded. You should contact an attorney for advice regarding obtaining a bond for your Stop Notice.

NOTE !!!! Once the lender is served with a Stop Notice you should contact an attorney to ascertain the proper procedures for enforcing the Stop Notice.
